Solent Business ParkThe Solent Business Park is widely recognised as one of the leading business addresses in the South East of England, and it has been so since its construction towards the end of the 1980s. This business park covers an area of approximately 130 acres and its total office space exceeds 2.55 million square feet. Over the past few years, a second sector has been added to the park in order to provide additional office space. This area is known as S2 and has an extension of 16.8 acres.

Location

The Solent Business Park is located approximately half way between Southampton and Portsmouth, as the park is 8 and 12 miles away from these cities respectively. Other important towns that are relatively nearby are Basingstoke, Winchester, Guildford, and Bournemouth. The Solent Business Park is located 81 miles south of Central London.

On-site facilities

The Solent Business Park is managed by Goodman, which offers different types of office space in suites that range between 30,000 and 250,000 square feet. The park can accommodate traditional offices, production facilities, and warehouses. The rental units are classified into four different masterplans, according to their intended use. However, the Solent Business Park also offers bespoke office space and the possibility of constructing customised office buildings to match the tenants’ specifications.

The business park’s management offers office space to businesses who require immediate occupation, as most of the space available is in the form of serviced offices. As such, prospective tenants can expect standard facilities such as high quality office furniture, partitioned space, dedicated reception, staff and meeting areas, fully accessible raised floors, offices and bathrooms, shower facilities, free parking space for staff and visitors, central heating and cooling systems, suspended ceilings, 24 hour access to the building, cleaning and maintenance services, CCTV, and kitchen areas. In addition, the Whiteley Village Outlet is located within the Solent Business Park boundaries, consisting of 60 retailers that offer varied eating and entertainment options.

Other services and amenities available to tenants at the Solent Business Park include CAT 5/6 cabling, broadband Internet access, digital data transmission lines, photocopy and fax machines, reception and secretarial services, call and mail handling, and unbranded office space.
